Supported new funding for range of educational programs
Warren worked to improve education. He was the sponsor of a program which has been successful in identifying children at risk of not learning to read and providing them with tutoring. He sponsored legislation to ensure equitable funding for
school districts. Warren was the driving force behind a Learning Center in a local housing development where kids can receive help with homework. Warren also worked to increase funding for school safety programs.
