Raise taxes on cigarettes to expand health coverage for kids
Warren was a leader in the passage of the Health Care Expansion Bill, which was funded by a 25 cent increase in the cigarette tax.
The increase gives smokers a further incentive to quit, while at the same time funding health care for thousands of previously uninsured children.
