Find problems, then build coalitions

I've prided myself on listening and trying to find core problems and then building coalitions, bringing people together, helping them to see the vision and believe in it, and then getting it done. We've done very well not just with legislation, but with big coalitions on human trafficking and substance use disorders. Of those 51 bills, roughly half were carried by Democrats and half by Republicans, at my request. That's my style of governance and leadership, and it's been very effective. Don't make New Jersey the California of the East Coast

On values: "Phil Murphy doesn't get it. Maybe it's because he's not from New Jersey. Maybe it's because he doesn't understand New Jersey," Ciattarelli said. "But the bottom line is this: He's not New Jersey." He attacked Murphy's progressive policies would eventually bankrupt the state.
