Defense was never more important than it is today

The single most important thing that we have in the United States is defense. In fact, you have to realize that the only reason the tax bill was passed was in order to provide for the national defense in the early 19 hundreds. We introduced the tax again and we were taxing at the rate of 3%. What happened is we had to do that because we needed defense. Defense was never more important than it is today. Strengthen our defense by cutting waste & improving audits

National Defense should not have an unlimited credit line or a blank check. Did you know that the Pentagon has failed five audits in a row and that it cannot account for more than 30 percent of its spending? I will strengthen our defense by cutting waste, improving our audits and controls and streamlining our processes so we can do more with 98 percent of the defense budget than we ever did before with 100 percent.
