Hobby Lobby: contraception for all employees in MA
Q: What about Hobby Lobby?
A: The good news is Massachusetts won't be affected by the Hobby Lobby decision because Hobby Lobby doesn't change any of the state laws we already have here, which I think is great.
Q: How do you feel about the decision
A: It doesn't matter. What I care about is Massachusetts, and for Massachusetts it doesn't change a thing.
Q: Do you feel there should be an employer mandate to provide this coverage?
A: Well, we have one. And I think in Massachusetts
Q: Regardless of religious objection?
A: Well, in Massachusetts the terms of our law, I think, have worked for everybody involved and I think can continue to work going forward, and I'm glad.
FactCheck by MA-IEPAC: In fact, the MA
coverage mandate does not apply to all, due to federal pre-emption. Baker backed away, saying, "I will work to ensure that Massachusetts employers continue to offer comprehensive health insurance coverage, including contraception, to their employees."

Pro-choice; respects woman's right to decide medical care
A proposal written by several key conservatives would go beyond the current GOP party platform, which affirms "the inherent dignity and sanctity of human life." It would add, "We believe that every instance of abortion is tragic." GOP activists called
the changes an attempt to find a middle ground between moderate and conservative factions of the party that have been fighting for years over how prominent a role to give social issues in the party's essential statement of principles.
But the party's leading candidate for governor, Charlie Baker, quickly distanced himself from the platform proposal. Baker's campaign released a statement that made clear he disagrees with the proposal's statements on abortion and
wants his campaign to focus on other issues such as jobs and education. "Charlie is prochoice and respects a woman's right to make decisions about her medical care," the statement said. (Boston Globe, 2/21/2014)

I support a woman's right to choose
The Massachusetts Republican Party establishment has selected Charlie Baker and Richard Tisei as candidates for Governor and Lt. Governor. Baker and Tisei are arguably among the most radical anti-family Republican party-endorsed Governor or
Lt. Governor candidates ever in Massachusetts--or of any state in America. How bad are they? Off the charts. In any other state they would be left-wing Democrats.

- Gay marriage:
Strongly supports same-sex "marriage". Often brings up his gay brother who is "married" to another man.
- Gay pride: Marched in 2010 Boston Gay Pride Parade, which also included transvestites, sado-masochism groups, and numerous other
depravities. Baker marched with anti-family homosexual "KnowThyNeighbor" activists who were also campaigning for Baker.
- Abortion: Supports abortion. States bluntly, "I'm Pro-Choice. I support a woman's right to choose."
