Improve and fund our public school systems

We must improve and fund our public school systems. We must not bankrupt them by allowing a voucher system. Our public schools are the key to a robust economy and ensuring our nation's ability to compete internationally. While funding for public education is largely a state and local government function, the federal government plays a significant role.

Vouchers are divisive

One of the key ingredients in America's success has been our ability to unify our diverse populations. Vouchers create a divisive educational system.
