Eliminate federal taxes on Social Security benefits

At the town hall, Mace said she strongly supports President Donald Trump's campaign promise to eliminate taxes on Social Security benefits. "The last thing we should be doing is taxing those in retirement," she said. She referenced legislation introduced by Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massiehas--the Senior Citizens Tax Elimination Act--which would end federal taxation of Social Security income.

Project Vote Smart inferred whether candidates agree or disagree with the statement, 'Budget: Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?' PVS self-description: "The Political Courage Test provides voters with positions on key issues.
