Mark Gordon on Jobs

Train workforce to meet the needs of today and tomorrow

We also need to align our workforce training with industry needs. Wyoming's community and technical colleges must be proactive and adaptive so we can quickly train workers for the jobs of today and tomorrow. The Wyoming Lodging & Restaurant Associations ProStart Program, a two-year curriculum that prepares high school students for careers in the restaurant and foodservice industry, is a terrific example of how the private sector can successfully drive workforce training within the public system.
