Millions of Americans have worked their entire lives and paid into Social Security- they have earned their retirement benefits. Now there are proposals to raise the retirement age to receive benefits, and gamble Social Security Trust Funds in risky stocks on Wall Street. Lauren supports using the federal budget surplus to protect Social Security and Medicare.
