Brett Lindstrom on Free Trade

Global trade partners bring in ag revenue

Lindstrom said Nebraska needs to work on taxes to pull revenue into the state and grow Nebraska industry. "Value-added ag, those trade partners that we have globally--we have several different sectors that are anchors. Financial services, logistics, national security--those are the big drivers," he said. "Small business is the backbone of that economy, but we also have to have those different sectors driving revenues into the state to allow us to grow to a higher level and at a quicker pace."
