Scott Bottoms on Tax Reform

Don't believe income tax or property tax is constitutional

Beyond the size of the budget, Bottoms challenged the legal basis for Colorado's tax structure. He argued that current tax rates are "overtaxing everything." "Our property taxes are too high. Income taxes are too high," Bottoms said. "And I personally don't believe that income tax or property tax is constitutional."
