Bruce Blakeman on Health Care

Charge union members for fewer health benefits

The health care plan in the current CSEA contract for Nassau workers will be discontinued at the end of the year. "First of all, I love our workers and they do a great job. I want quality health care for our workers. But every business, every individual understands they must contribute for their health care. We're asking for a small contribution from our union workers, as have the CSEA workers in the state," says Blakeman.
