Bush's Reaganomics is detrimental to economy

Tax cuts may be detrimental to our economic recovery. If the tax cuts are put in place, the national debt will be almost doubled in the next ten years. Neither Reaganomics or the Bush version of the policy is the best solution. Source: Campaign website, "On The Issues" Aug 13, 2004

Oppose extension of federal tax cuts

The first issue of my campaign is fiscal responsibility and the proposed extension of current federal tax cuts. I oppose the extension because they are not needed and may well be detrimental to the U.S. economy. A rising surge of inflation must be cooled off, not encouraged by tax cuts. The national economy is in as much greater danger of being devastated by inflation than stagnation. A tax cut is the wrong remedy at the wrong time.
