Fight for Alaskans' Permanent Fund Dividend

The campaign that pushed for the Permanent Fund Dividend raid was largely paid for by big oil and outside industrial tourism companies, according to APOC records. Had the plan passed, big outside corporations would have skated free while Alaskans would have carried the entire additional tax burden instead of fairly asking everyone to pay a little-Alaska residents, large corporations, tourists and guest workers.
