Priorities include ending transnational corporate empire

The priorities of the Cobb '04 campaign include: ending the occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan, ending the transnational corporate empire and dismantling the military industrial complex; universal health care and a living wage for all; building schools not prisons; creating a multi-party democracy with publicly funded elections and which uses Proportional Representation and Instant Runoff Voting; an end to the racist War on Drugs and the Repeal of the Patriot Act.

Abolish the legal doctrine of "corporate personhood"

[We should] abolish the legal doctrine of "corporate personhood" which illegitimately allows corporations to claim constitutional protections. This doctrine currently allows corporations to overturn democratically enacted laws.

Revoke charters when corporations flagrantly violate law

I will use the office of Attorney General to assist local governments and community groups with drafting local laws to assert local, democratic control over corporations. I will initiate charter revocation proceedings against those corporations which flagrantly violate state and federal laws.
