Bob Massie on Technology

Funding infrastructure won't bankrupt us; but builds future

We must rebuild our failing infrastructure to support commerce: American roads, railways, bridges, pipelines, energy grids, and broadband systems must be brought up to the standards not only of this century, but of the next. Much of this can be done by the private sector, but requires the active partnership of government. Funding infrastructure will not bankrupt us. It's not bankrupting the Chinese, Germans or Spanish who are investing heavily in infrastructure. They have their eye on the future.
