Protect US jobs by restricting outsourcing

Hard-working Americans are losing jobs by the thousands thanks to their employers moving their jobs overseas. corporations outsource American jobs for one simple reason: overseas labor costs less. They needn't concern themselves with such things as worker safety, health benefits, overtime pay or even a decent living wage. The government should be able to stipulate that any corporation who outsources American jobs must provide its foreign labor force with the same benefits and work rules, as well as comparable pay indexed to the wages earned by the American workers they replace. I will also work to reverse the tax incentives that send jobs abroad, and give corporations tax incentives to keep those jobs stateside.
