$1B per day interest on national debt must have an effect

We hear more and more talk about the impact our Federal Budget Deficit is going to have on our country and its future. We are paying about $1 billion each day to pay for the interest on our national debit. Much of that debit is held by foreigners and so this interest is either leaving the country or is being used to purchase it right out from under our feet. It is money that cannot be used for other national priorities.
