Every American deserves health insurance

Every American deserves health insurance. A parent must not have the decision of taking a child to a doctor or buying groceries. America needs a comprehensive insurance program which is based on affordable private insurance or state run access pools. Prescription drugs should be mandated to be priced at no more than 125% of the price charged in a pool of nations for the same product. Ensure access to basic health care

Ensure that citizens have access to basic health care through managed care, insurance reforms or state-funded care where necessary.
Support patients' right to sue their HMOs.
Support patients' right to appeal when services are denied by their HMO.
Legalize physician-assisted suicide in Arizona.
Increase state funding for training health workers to recognize and respond to the release of biological agents.
