The Supreme Court today affirmed what most Oklahomans already know to be true. No government can take away the Constitutional right of individual American citizens to own firearms. This is a victory for the Constitution, but it doesn't mean that we can stop being vigilant about protecting the rights of law-abiding gun-owners. As a U.S. Senator, I will consistently fight to protect the individual rights of every American citizen that are guaranteed by our Constitution."
