Jim Himes on Tax Reform

Supports tax increases & Obamacare

Himes defeated longtime incumbent Republican congressman Chris Shays in this liberal Connecticut district. Shays, who was quite independent of the Republican line, finally succumbed to the Obama sweep, which carried his district 60-40. But the 4th District is a rich one, and Obama's war on prosperity may not play well here.

Himes's vote in favor of ObamaCare will prove especially unpopular as will his support for tax increases. He won by only two points last time.
