Bob Turner on Health Care

Federally mandated "Obamacare" an irresponsible law

Today my colleagues and I voted to repeal the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) provision in Obamacare. The vote serves as a stark reminder that on the eve of the two-year anniversary of Obamacare being signed into law, ineffective and dangerous portions of the President's healthcare overhaul continue to surface. The people should not have to suffer the consequences of this irresponsible law. I am proud to have voted for H.R. 5, and will continue the fight to repeal Obamacare."

ObamaCare places an enormous burden on private businesses

ObamaCare: I believe that health care reform is needed, but the current bill needs to be amended due to its enormous burden it will place on private sector businesses and job growth.
