Supports medical marijuana use under Prop 215

Q: In 1996, California voters approved Proposition 215, legalizing medicinal marijuana for those seriously ill. Now the federal government has continued to challenge the law, does not seem to recognize it. Do you support or oppose the use of medical marijuana and would you continue to support that proposition?

McCLINTOCK: the people of California spoke clearly on that subject. The federal government has no right to intervene.
