Sam Brown on Health Care

Competition--not government--drives medical innovations

Politicians have allowed bureaucrats to write healthcare laws, like Obamacare, that flood the marketplace with regulations--starving it of options--while driving up costs and lowering access to quality coverage. Competition--not government--drives medical innovations that lead to better care and lower costs. Without burdensome government intervention, the marketplace and patients will be the driving force that solve the problems within our healthcare system.

Cut gender-affirming care for children from defense bill

Doctors in the Defense Department also praised "gender-affirming health care" in an article for the American Journal of Public Health, arguing children "have an inherent ability and right to consent" to the interventions. US Army veteran and Nevada GOP Senate candidate Sam Brown told The Post he was fighting to unseat Rosen in the 2024 election to cut out provisions like the TRICARE gender coverage, which he said was "using taxpayers to fund dangerous medical procedures on children."
