Don't require companies to hire more women and minorities

A: Oppose. All citizens should be treated equally under the law. While I understand the objectives of preferential hiring policies, we cannot achieve equality through well intentioned discrimination.

Our federal government was formed on the premise of protecting the liberties of our people. In that spirit, I believe that all U.S. citizens should be exactly equal in the eyes of the government--discrimination of any kind, regardless of intention or plurality of support, is unacceptable.
