Michael J. Steele: For border security, but against building a wall

I believe that all of our contingent strategies have been utilized since the founding of our nation. Our military and many other agencies are already doing the best they can for border security. Fences and walls are built to keep people in not out according to Robert F. Kennedy. Look what happened in Nazi Germany and the Warsaw Ghetto in Poland.

Rick Becker: Secure our border immediately; finish building the wall

I am in favor of immigration for all persons who desire to come for opportunity, who believe in our system of government, and who want to be Americans. They must be vetted properly for the security of our nation. In a redistributive, welfare state such as ours currently is, open borders will be the demise of our society as we know it. We must secure our border immediately, and finish building the wall.
