Doug Burgum: Goal is to be first state with 100% broadband access

We continue to make strides toward our goal of becoming the first state in the nation to reach 100% access to fast, reliable broadband. Of the funds allocated from the American Rescue Plan Act for broadband grants, there are projects proposed to install 1,100 miles of fiber connecting 2,150 unserved and underserved addresses across the state.

Eric Holcomb: We're investing in infrastructure in all 92 counties

It's been said that investment is the strongest sign of a promising future. Well, investment loves Indiana, and we have a race plan in place to help all 92 counties reach their Next Level aspirations. That includes finishing I-69 next year, connecting Evansville to Indianapolis three years ahead of schedule, double-tracking the South Shore rail line in northwest Indiana, and connecting homes, and schools, and businesses via broadband internet--even on our most remote terrain.

Greg Gianforte: $200M for water & sewer infrastructure, and housing

We adopted one of the task force's strategies in our budget, the HOMES Program, or Home Ownership Means Economic Security. The HOMES Program invests $200 million to expand water and sewer infrastructure, and ultimately expand housing capacity throughout our state. I ask you to pass the HOMES Program. Get it to my desk so we can increase the supply of housing--and get more Montanans into a home of their own.

Mike Parson: If we can put electricity in every home, we can do broadband

Last year, we made one of the largest investments in broadband expansion across our state. Thanks to our efforts, nearly 70,000 under-served homes and businesses NOW have broadband. BUT we know we can't stop now. That is why we are investing an additional $250 million dollars to do even more. If we can put electricity in every home, we can do the same with broadband today. We are not done until every home, every school, every business, and every farm has access to quality internet.

Tony Evers: More than $340 million into expanding high-speed internet

We've also gotten back on track preparing our state, our workforce, and our economy for this century. Over the last four years, we've allocated more than $340 million into expanding high-speed internet--more than any administration in state history. More than 387,000 homes and businesses will have new or improved access to reliable, high-speed internet, and I want to double that number by the end of this term. And together we will.

Glenn Youngkin: Prohibit tech companies from selling children's data

We can also choose commonsense when it comes to social media, and the ever-growing threat that the Chinese Communist Party poses to our national security, our privacy and our way of life in Virginia. We know that our children use technology at an unthinkable, breakneck pace. But the data of our teenagers should not be used and manipulated by big tech companies. I'm asking you to pass a bill that prohibits tech companies from selling the data of children under the age of 18.

Chris Sununu: $5M towards a computer science initiative in schools

I believe that computer science virtually guarantees that anyone with those skills won't end up in poverty. Who better to learn those skills than children. It is so much easier for kids to learn computers and computer coding than adults. I am proposing New Hampshire's greatest computer science opportunity in history. $5M towards a computer science initiative that creates a statewide credentialling system and pays incentives to hundreds of new computer science teachers to become certified.

Kevin Stitt: Get high-speed internet access to 95% of the state by 2028

Broadband and internet access are critical to Oklahoma's future. When I came into office, Oklahoma was ranked in the bottom ten for broadband access. Today, we've jumped 23 spots to 26th in the nation for fastest coverage. Last year we formed the Oklahoma Broadband Office and set a vision to deliver high-speed internet access to 95% of the state by 2028.
