Gwen Diakos on Education

Honor and cherish our school teachers

We must honor and cherish our school teachers, the builders of our future. With many of the social issues we are facing as a nation, teachers are on the front lines working hard to bring success to the children of various backgrounds and challenges. We must listen to those on the front lines to produce real solutions. With recent changes in the economy along with poor government decisions, our teachers are hurting. We must hear their voices.

Teachers team with parents to build productive members of society. I believe if we show a child love and care, we build an infrastructure by investing in a stronger more competitive America. Education is of utmost importance and the strongest investment we can make as Americans. With a combination of a superior curriculum, availability of confidence boosting extra-curricular activities, good parenting, and good teachers, the results are higher standards and a prosperous society who are educated, confident, and successful; a stronger America.
