Everett Stern on Homeland Security

Corruption of government is a National Security threat

Stern believes that corruption at all levels undermines the people's faith in our US system of government. Corruption is a National Security threat, it weakens our influence overseas and leads to inevitable economic decline. With Everett Stern in Washington the citizens of this country have a tried-and-true American Patriot willing to walk the talk.

2012 HSBC: Uncovered billions in terrorist money laundering

As the Intelligence Director of Tactical Rabbit, I am committed to preserving Justice and the United States Constitution. I have been fighting for years ensuring freedom is preserved by preventing terrorist financing at banks and cleaning up Wall Street. I uncovered billions of dollars of illegal money laundering transactions which led to an SEC investigation and a $1.92 billion fine against HSBC in 2012. Specifically, I uncovered a multinational money-laundering network that generated millions of dollars for Hezbollah through the Lebanese brothers Ali, Husayn, and Kassim Tajideen through their Gambia-based company, Tajco Ltd. I have been relentlessly fighting the Obama Administration's perversion of justice executed by Eric Holder.

Take care of our troops--here and abroad

As the son of a Department of Veterans Affairs doctor, I know the importance of taking care of our troops--here and abroad. I will ensure that the Department of Veterans Affairs has the necessary funding and uses it to do the job they are supposed to do: Take care of our Veterans. We must make sure that soldiers receive the support they need, deserve, and have earned through their service. I will not allow Pennsylvania veterans and active servicemen and women to be left behind. It is my highest priority to increase funding to VA hospitals in Pennsylvania and vigorously support veteran outreach centers. I will fight to the bitter end to ensure our troops get the necessary support when they come home to Pennsylvania.

Found money-laundering at HSBC bank to fund terrorist groups

In 2010, 25-year-old Everett Stern was just out of business school; he found a job at HSBC, a major international bank, to help with its anti-money-laundering program. "I thought this was exactly what I wanted to do," he says. Stern interviewed in October, just days after the OCC issued the second Don't Do It Again letter [from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, warning HSBC against money laundering], he started work as part of HSBC's "expanded" anti-money-laundering program.

From the outset, Stern knew there was something weird about his job. "I had to go to the library to take out books on money-laundering," Stern says now, laughing. "That's how bad it was." There were no training courses or seminars on money-laundering-- what it was, how to detect it. His Even weirder, nobody seemed to care if anybody was doing any actual work. Almost immediately, he found a series of deeply concerning transactions [concerning funding terrorist groups].
