Cut regulations that increase the cost of doing business

Proper federal regulatory activity is necessary. Many regulations, however, entail endless red tape but no longer provide benefits for the ordinary citizen. When regulation increases, so does the cost. Because of regulations, conducting business is more expensive. Minimum wage and other labor laws make hiring new workers more expensive. Environmental, banking and civil rights laws raise the cost of equipment, require extensive record keeping and paper work, and drive up the cost of credit. Source: Agenda for America, by Gov.
