Arnold Schwarzenegger on War & Peace

Republican CA Governor

Terrorism is more insidious than communism

Our young men and women in uniform do not believe there are two Americas! We are one America - and Bush is defending it with all his heart and soul! Thatís what I admire most about Bush. Heís a man of perseverance. Heís a man of inner strength. He is a leader who doesnít flinch, doesnít waiver, does not back down. My fellow Americans, make no mistake about it terrorism is more insidious than communism, because it yearns to destroy not just the individual but the entire international order.

You donít reason with terrorists, you defeat them

Bush didnít go into Iraq because the polls told him it was popular. But leadership isnít about polls. Itís about making decisions you think are right and then standing behind them. Thatís why America is safer with Bush as President. He knows you donít reason with terrorists, you defeat them. He knows you canít reason with people blinded by hate. They hate the power of the individual. They hate the progress of women; the religious freedom of others. They hate the liberating breeze of democracy.
