Rush Limbaugh on Corporations

Conservative Talk-show Host

Calling the rich lucky is like Mao's Cultural Revolution

Similarly, Rush Limbaugh declared: ".She's a parasite. She's a parasite who hates her host. She's willing to destroy the host while she sucks the life out of it. Roads, bridges, firefighters, and policemen.... There's a guy at the "New Republic"-- Jonathan Cohn--celebrating her rant, especially the philosophical pillar that the rich are just basically lucky. This is the kind of thinking (that) undergirds it all. Again, I cannot emphasize it enough: This is exactly the way Obama views this country in the rest of the world. This is the thinking behind Mao Zedong's cultural revolution. This is the thinking behind Fidel Castro's revolution, the kind of thinking that's going on in Venezuela-- and, as you can see, at our citadels and even in our government.." Capitalists give you jobs; don't assault them

We just cringe to watch capitalism be assaulted and our culture be reoriented to where the people that make it work are the enemy. The people that make this country work, the people who pay on their mortgages, the people getting up and going to work, striving in this recession to not participate in it, they're not the enemy.

They're the people that hire you. They're the people that are going to give you a job. They're the people that are going to give you a raise, the people that need you to do wor for them.

When Obama talks about past economies, he somehow always leaves out the recession of the '80s as worst than this one. Why does he leave it out? Because you know why he leaves it out, America? He leaves it out because we got out of that recession with tax cuts. We got out of the 1980s recession with tax cuts. Do you know that President Obama, in six weeks of his administration, has proposed more spending than from the founding of the country to his inauguration?
