Keep promise to seniors & develop common sense solutions

• Seniors: The political brinksmanship that has befallen Medicare and Social Security has to stop and it has to stop now. We need to develop effective, common sense solutions that do not threaten the promise we have given to our senior. To treat this serious issue as a pawn in a power game is unconscionable.

• The Alliance makes its voice heard on the issues that matter not just to current retirees, but to all Americans who hope to retire one day. We were a leading voice in recent debates considering changes to Medicare, like replacing guaranteed benefits with a voucher system, and remain so in 2014.
