I have invested in the State's existing workforce, because I believe that there is no greater business asset in Illinois than our highly productive workers. So, I have invested almost $50 million in job training programs to upgrade workers skills and train our workforce for new careers in high-demand areas. Vote to authorize $167 billion over ten years for farm price supports, food aid and rural development. Voted NO on zero-funding OSHA's Ergonomics Rules instead of $4.5B.

Vote to pass a resolution to give no enforcement authority or power to ergonomics rules submitted by the Labor Department during the Clinton Administration.
