All earmarks should be transparent to public scrutiny
I believe transparency and merit should replace backroom deals and political favoritism in the federal budgeting process. Whether named earmarks, line items, tax breaks, or appropriations for special projects or markets, they should be completely
transparent. If an appropriation of our federal tax dollars can't survive public scrutiny, then remove it.
