We cannot be used as pawns in a multi-year trade war

We want free trade deals, we want better trade deals. There's a reason none of our delegation originally voted for NAFTA (which went into effect in January 1994). Farmers and ranchers have been saying we have bad trade deals even while nobody else in Washington was caring about trade. That being said, we cannot be used as pawns in a multi-year trade war.
