Angie Craig on Social Security

Strengthen Social Security & Medicare; shore up funding

Medicare and Social Security allow Americans who have paid into these programs their entire lives to retire with dignity. That's why I oppose any changes that would cut, privatize or jeopardize these programs. I am determined to find ways to strengthen Social Security and Medicare. I am committed to eliminating waste, fraud and abuse of both programs, and shoring up their funding--even if it requires asking millionaires and billionaires to pay their fair share.
