Delaware's Freedom of Information Act helps ensure transparency and accountability in government, which is the people's business. It is now easier for citizens to make FOIA requests, executive branch agencies must be more consistent in how they respond to these requests and in many cases, we will substantially reduce the cost of FOIAs. This is an important part of our efforts to make state government more open, efficient and responsive to the needs of Delaware citizens.
