Bob Tingle on Tax Reform

Republican Senate Challenger (RI)

Abolish the Federal Income Tax and the IRS

Q: Do you support the statement, "Make taxes more progressive"?

A: I support the Fair Tax. The time has come to abolish the Federal Income Tax and the IRS. With the Fair Tax EVERYONE will pay their fair share. There will be no need to file a tax return. There will be no audits.

Replace federal Income Tax with the Fair Tax

It's time to put the IRS out of business by getting rid of the Federal Income Tax and replacing it with the Fair Tax. Under the Fair Tax, EVERYONE will pay their fair share. People who work hard and invest will not be penalized for their efforts. With the Fair Tax, April 15th will be just another sunny spring day !!! There will be no need to fill out a complicated and confusing income tax return. Please go to www.fairtax.org for more info.

Simplify tax code; close loopholes

The key to economic growth and job creation is to lower the tax burden on the American people. I believe the tax code should be simplified, federal income tax rates should be lowered even further, and loopholes, some of which allow huge corporations to avoid paying income taxes, should be permanently closed so that everyone pays their fair share.
