On Abortion: Defend the rights of the preborn

Montanans understand why America is great. America is exceptional, but that doesn't come by accident. We embrace freedom, and those principles are embedded in our Constitution.

I will uphold the oath of office that supports and defends the Constitution of the United States. I will ensure we protect our 2nd Amendment rights and the rights of those who are most vulnerable in our society, including the preborn, the disabled, and the elderly.

On Budget & Economy: Exploding debt is generational theft

Montanans understand we are in the midst of a debt crisis, and Montanans want to know why we have to balance our budgets and the politicians in Washington don't? For the sake of our children and grandchildren, we must stand up to the exploding debt the politicians in Washington have created. We must stop this generational theft.

On Energy & Oil: Remove barriers on developing coal, oil, and natural gas

Montanans understand that "Made in America" energy helps keep prices lower and reduces our dependence on foreign sources. Over the past year, I've put tens of thousands of miles on my pick-up while visiting all 56 counties in Montana. During that time, gas prices have risen significantly and our federal government has blocked projects that are part of the solution, like the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Montana is called the Treasure State for a reason, and has an abundance of natural energy resources including coal, oil, natural gas, hydro, and wind. I will fight for an all-inclusive, and market based energy policy that removes barriers to developing our natural resources in Montana and across America.

On Gun Control: Ensure we protect our 2nd Amendment rights

Why are we the greatest, most prosperous, most generous, and freest people ever known to man? It is because we embrace freedom, and those principles are embedded in our Constitution.

I will uphold the oath of office that supports and defends the Constitution of the United States. I will ensure we protect our 2nd Amendment rights and the rights of those who are most vulnerable in our society, including the preborn, the disabled, and the elderly.

On Health Care: ObamaCare does not move the country forward

Montanans understand that ObamaCare does not move the country forward, but sets us back. Every American wants health care at a reasonable cost. No American wants a complicated plan full of false promises, special political favors, and costs we cannot afford. We should repeal ObamaCare and implement an affordable health care system that actually improves the quality of health care.

On Tax Reform: Problem is not that taxes too low, but spending too high

Over the past 28 years in my business experience, I've had to manage budgets, solve difficult problems, and deliver measureable results. I've had to reduce expenses, while at the same time improving quality and performance. The best way to move our economy forward is by introducing fiscal responsibility and accountability to Washington. Our problem in Washington is not that taxes are too low, but spending is too high.
